Who We Are

Our mission is to facilitate healthy relationships, health education, and healthy choices for youth in Homer.

About Us

As part of our commitment to ensuring widespread access to reproductive health, KBFPC has long supported teens and their families through popular education programs that share medically-accurate health information. For decades, KBFPC's staff have offered nurse guest lectures in area schools, developed a sexual health curriculum as part of the AK PHAT program for use in KPBSD classrooms, hosted the now-closed REC Room afterschool space, and created the current Peer Education Program led by dedicated adult staff.

Program Staff

KBFPC’s Education Team is dedicated to supporting community health by connecting teens and their families with the resources they need to make healthy choices and foster healthy relationships. The team of highly-trained professionals are long-time members of the Kenai Peninsula community, including teen Peer Educators, and are well-versed in creating meaningful, age appropriate learning experiences for youth.

The Education Team are supported by KBFPC's licensed clinical providers who are experts in evidence-based reproductive health. For more information, please visit kbfpc.org.
